Mr. Satake gave a research talk at the IPSJ SIGPC meeting
Mr. Satake, a master’s student at our laboratory, presented a paper at the 188th IPSJ SIGHPC meeting held from March 16 to 17, 2023 at the Hokkaido University Conference Hall. Good job, Mr. Satake!

Prof. Takahashi spoke at Cyber HPC Symposium 2023
Assistant Professor Takahashi participated as a panelist in the Cyber HPC Symposium 2023 held at the Cybermedia Center, Osaka University on March 6, 2023.
The panel discussion was entitled “Toward the New Research Infrastructure of Cybermedia Center, Osaka University”, in which the state of university computing centers was reported, and the future of supercomputers and computing centers was discussed.
高橋助教がCyber HPC Symposium 2023にて登壇
2023年3月6日に大阪大学サイバーメディアセンターにおいて開催されたCyber HPC Symposium 2023にて，高橋助教がパネリストとして登壇しました．
パネルディスカッションは「大阪大学サイバーメディアセンターの新しい研究基盤にむけて ～OCTOPUS・SQUID・ONIONに添えて～」という表題で，計算機センターの現状について紹介するととともに，将来のスパコンおよび計算機センターのあり方について議論しました．
国際会議PDCAT’22を開催します
2022年12月7日から9日にかけて，並列分散処理に関する国際会議 The 23rd International Conference on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Applications and Technologies (PDCAT’22) を開催いたします．
豪マッコーリー大 Michael Sheng教授，独シュトゥットガルト大 Michael Resch教授，慶應大 近藤正章 教授による基調講演をはじめとし，24件のfull paper発表，16件のshort paper発表，ならびに8件のポスター発表を予定しております．

Exhibit at SC22
Our research division hosted a booth at SC22, the largest international conference and exhibit in the field of high-performance computing. This year, SC was held in Dallas, Texas, from November 13 to 18. Cyberscience Center has been jointly hosting a booth with the Institute for Fluid Science and Institute for Materials Research of Tohoku University at every SC. It has been three years since we hosted a booth in-person at SC19, the last SC held before the COVID-19 pandemic.

SC22に出展しました
当研究室は，2022年11月13日〜18日に米国テキサス州ダラスで開催された高性能計算に関する国際会議・展示会SC22に出展しました．例年，サイバーサイエンスセンターは本学の流体科学研究所および金属材料研究所と共同でSCに出展しており，今年はコロナ禍以前のSC19以来，3年ぶりとなりました．

Professor Takizawa and Assistant Professor Takahashi gave talks at the 34th Workshop on Sustained Simulation Performance (WSSP34) held on October 24 and 25, 2022.
WSSP is a biannual international workshop jointly organized by Cyberscience Center and High-Performance Computing Center Stuttgart. This time, speakers gathered at Cyberscience Center in-person, whereas attendees joined the workshop online. The program of the workshop is available here.

2022年10月24日と25日に開催された34th Workshop on Sustained Simulation Performance (WSSP34) において，当研究室の滝沢教授と高橋助教が講演しました．
WSSPは東北大学サイバーサイエンスセンターとドイツ・シュツットガルト大学高性能計算センター (HLRS) が主催するワークショップです．今回，発表者はサイバーサイエンスセンターで現地参加，聴講者はオンライン参加という形態で開催されました．ワークショップのプログラムはこちらをご参照ください．

高橋慧智助教が着任しました
12月1日付けで滝沢研究室に助教として着任しました，高橋慧智 (たかはし けいち) です．本研究室に着任前は，奈良先端科学技術大学院大学 (NAIST) の助教として，高性能計算システムにおけるノード間通信の高速化や，ストレージI/Oの高速化に取り組んで参りました．詳細なプロフィールは，個人ウェブサイトをご覧ください．
