My name is Masatoshi Kawai, and I joined the faculty as of March 1.
My research focuses on optimization, large-scale parallelization, dynamic load balancing, and auto-tuning, with a primary emphasis on linear computation algorithms.
Skiing is my hobby, so I was looking forward to my first assignment in the Tohoku region.
