Hello everyone, my name is Dominik Mann. I am a M2 student in applied statistics at the University of Goettingen in Germany.
I came to the Takizawa Lab through the COLABS exchange program of the Tohoku University and will be a part of the lab for the next six months.
My main research interest involves practical applications of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. I believe that getting to know how to utilize supercomputers and high-performance computing systems in general will increase my practical skills by combining both Machine Learning and supercomputers. I am grateful for getting this opportunity in this very exciting environment and looking forward to some special experiences.
