I attended the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JSIAM)

Hello! This is Nakatsuji, a first-year master’s student.
Together with Professor Kawai, I attended the Japan Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (JSIAM), held from September 2 to 4 at the Tokyo University of Science, Kagurazaka Campus.

At JSIAM, research in a wide range of fields—from mathematics and physics to management and politics—is presented and discussed. On the second day, Professor Kawai gave a presentation titled “Evaluation of the Dynamic Load Balancing Platform (HALEOS).”

This session mainly featured HPC-related talks. I participated as an audience member, and I was able to gain a great deal of valuable information. I will do my best to make use of the insights I gained through this conference and further devote myself to my research!
